    Introduction: Classroom management is the process by which lecturers and colleges create and maintain appropriate behavior of students in classroom settings. The purpose of implementing classroom management strategies is to enhance prosocial behavior and increase student academic engagement. Effective classroom management principles work across almost all subject areas and grade levels. Nowadays, modern classroom management practices are followed like smart classes which make academics more interesting so improved results are produced. Now, the classes are not like the olden days, so the students are more attentive and active in the class. Students are given activities in the class and there is question and answer session which helps in overall development of the student. The aim of the research is to do a research on effects of classroom management practices on student academic performance in professional education. Materials and Methods: A survey of 14 questions was prepared to know the effects of classroom management practices on student academic performance in professional education. The survey was conducted among 102 students from various colleges through survey planet link. The data were collected and analyzed. Result: A total of 102 people have taken this survey. Out of which, 96.1% feel that teacher plays a major role in classroom management. 67.6% students prefer healthy environment rather than competitive environment in the class. 84.3% students prefer teacher to be friendly than being strict or polite for better classroom environment. 78.4% students who like the teacher likes the subject. 63.7 students feel that modern technology helps them understand better than conventional method. Students think that having activities in class can make the class interesting and interactive also. Conclusion: From this survey, it is evident that classroom management practices play a major role in academics. Modern technology helps in improving the classroom management practices. Students prefer activity-based learning method. Students find modern technology more helpful for them in understanding than the conventional method.
