    Chemotherapy is the use of natural or synthetic chemicals for the treatment/or control of cancer which may also be termed as medical oncology. Chemotherapeutic agents (cytotoxic drugs) are effective to prolong life, decreasing tumor size by preventing cell proliferation (uncontrolled cell growth) or inhibit cell division (mitosis). Cancer is a disease characterized by uncontrolled growth of cells which may be either malignant (spread to other part of the body) or benign tumors (which do not spread to the other part of the body . [1] The main goal of chemotherapy in cancer treatment is cure, control, and palliation . [2] This article deals with anticancer drugs induced hepatitis.
