Introduction: Nursing students constitute one of the most sufficient health-care providers to the general population. Due to the nature of work which is deemed highly stressful and strenuous, they may not have adequate knowledge regarding the oral health disorders. Malocclusion is one of the developmental abnormalities of the dentoalveolar structures which could disrupt the hormones function of the stomatognathic system. Hence, nursing students should be aware of this condition to provide adequate oral health care. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional questionnaire survey was carried out among the nursing students of Saveetha School of Nursing to assess the knowledge, attitude, and awareness. A simple random sample was drawn to reach the required sample size of 75. A questionnaire consisting of the dental knowledge, the attitude of the students toward dental health, and awareness of the students was carried out. The responses were, therefore, estimated by personally collecting the completely filled questionnaire from the 75 nursing students. Results: Of the total of 75 nursing students reached for the study, the estimated responses to the questionnaire were collected. Among the overall 75 students, only 25% were ready to undertake an orthodontic treatment in the future. The rest found the orthodontic treatment unnecessary in the field of their career and their society. Conclusion: The overall population taken for the study had moderate levels of awareness on malocclusion and willingness to undergo orthodontic treatment. The most common perception of malocclusion among them was due to inversion of the maxillary incisors, the anterior-posterior molar reaction, the occlusal traits, the open and deep bites, and the crowding and spacing. Among the overall 75 students, only 25% were ready to undertake an orthodontic treatment in the future.
