    Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic drug. Simple, precise, rapid and selective zero order and area under curve UV spectrophotometric methods has been developed for the determination of paracetamol from tablet dosage forms. The methods involve measurement of absorptivity at 245 nm respectively. The method shows good linearity, accuracy and reproducibility. Results of analysis validated statistically and by recovery studies.
