    Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a gastrointestinal disorder characterized by abdominal pain or discomfort with changing bowel habits. This disease can affect populations in the world. This study was done to a new treatment of IBS. The method of this review is search by PUBMED, EMBASE and with keywords irritable bowel, inflammatory bowel, and current treatment. We found >70 articles. We analyzed 36 articles because they were related to the discussion of this disease. The conclusion of this review is that there are many class therapies for IBS among others: Antibiotic, antidepresan, serotonin receptor antagonist, agonis reseptor 5-HT4, guanylate cyclase C agonis, mast cell stabilizer, Luminal Adsorben, and opioid agonists and antagonists.
