    Background: Phytochemicals of marine weeds are extensively explored and were found to possess various biochemical properties.Numerous marine items that are utilized for the treatment of diabetes all through the world and there is an expanding request from patients to utilize the normal items. Materials and Methods: Methanol extract of marine red seaweed was tested for its α-amylase and α-glucosidase inhibitory potential.
