Aim: This study aims to study the morphology, morphometry, and the clinical significance of the suprameatal trigone and spine and to find its relation with the length of the sigmoid sinus. Objective: The objective of this study was to understand the basic anatomy of the suprameatal trigone and spine and to find its relation with the length of the sigmoid sinus. Materials and Methods: A total of 50 dry human skulls were collected and evaluated. In each skull, the suprameatal triangle was identified and measured on both sides. Similarly, the sigmoid sinus was located and its length was measured. All the measurements were taken using Vernier caliper and scale. Results: There is a slightly negative correlation between the length of the sigmoid sinus and the area of the suprameatal trigone. Conclusion: It is important to understand the relation between suprameatal trigone and sigmoid sinus to avoid thrombosis of the sinus during mastoidectomy.
