    Background: The operative therapy with deep carious lesions drawing close to the pulp and its associated dentinal tissues has been created a significant challenge as the risk of pulp exposure elevated. Treatment modalities have been aimed to preserve the vitality of pulp with minimally invasive preparation. Within the accelerated demand of mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) or Biodentine, the restoration used for final cover of the tooth grew to become an essential matter, some of dentists may have been utilized amalgam as a final filling and others may rely on glass ionomer cements (resin modified and metal modified glass ionomer cements) or composite resins. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the shear bond strength of a composite resin with white MTA or Biodentine using two different bonding systems, first with only self- etching adhesive bond and the second with acid etch and adhesive bond. Materials and Methods: Forty specimens had been prepared through the usage of acrylic blocks as a cylindrical white MTA (pro-root) and Biodentine (Septodont) had been mixed and stuffed in every prepared acrylic blocks. Results: Statistical analysis showed a highly significant difference between MTA and Biodentine. Conclusions: Biodentine had been extraordinary shear bond strength to composite resin materials in contrast to MTA.
