    Aim: The aim of the study was to study the prevalence of eating disorder among young women. Introduction: Eating disorder is a broad spectrum has both binge eating (Bulimia nervosa) and less eating (Anorexia nervosa), binge eating disorder due to various factors. The factors such as genetic predisposition, hormonal imbalance, fear of weight gaining, etc are the reasons for causing eating disorder. Especially, the conditions like anorexia nervosa are more likely seen in women than man. Materials and Methods: The present study conducted a survey among 100 young women. A questionnaire was prepared and circulated through an online link created with survey planet. The results were collected and analyzed. Results: The most important reason of eating disorder is due to lack of maintenance of healthy body weight, an obsessive fear of gaining weight or refusal to do so, and an unrealistic perception, or non-recognition of the seriousness, of current low body weight. Conclusion: The present study has concluded that based on the results obtained from the survey is the prevalence of eating related disorders were increased in young women due to various reasons and this is to be corrected through various creating awareness programs and clinical measures. The main reason for the eating disorder among women is worrying about their health conscious and body image and size. This kind of survey may be helpful for society to know better about this kind of disorders and it can reach easily to people.
